PRODUCTION AREA: Contrada Trimarchisa – Castiglione di Siclia.

PLANT DENSITY: 4500 vines/ha

VINEYARD EXPOSURE AND ALTITUDE:

NORTH-EAST 700-730 meters above sea level

VINIFICATION AND AGEING: The grapes are harvested by hand, placing them in crates, at the end of October. The grapes are selected first in the vineyard and then in the cellar. The destemmed grapes are fermented in open vats for approximately 15 days, with daily manual punching down. The wine matures in French oak barrels for approximately 9 months. It is then aged in bottles lying flat for a minimum of 10 months.
