Nero d'Avola Dry

The Nero d'Avola grape variety is the most widespread in Sicily, and produces a red grape that, depending on the area in which it is grown, gives rise to a wine with a strong flavor, or to a Nero d'Avola wine that is more delicate on the palate. In general, its characteristics are a ruby red color, aromas of Mediterranean scrub and a good structure on the palate.

Suggested Wine Dry

This month's suggested glass of red wine is Perricone. Perricone is a native Sicilian grape variety among the oldest, today very rare, characterized by compact, conical bunches, with thick-skinned, blue grapes.

Nerello Mascalese Special Dry

Typical Etna vine produced in Partinico Elegant and refined, ruby red with light garnet tones and complex aromas, with fruity hints and particular mineral notes that blend in a velvety embrace.

Dry Grill

Grillo is one of the most representative white grape varieties of Sicily, capable of producing elegant, fresh and mineral white wines. Its history dates back to the 19th century, when it was born from a natural cross between two other typical Sicilian grapes, Catarratto and Zibibbo (or Moscato d'Alessandria).

Inzolia Dry

Inzolia is a native Sicilian grape variety belonging to the white grape family and is one of the most cultivated vines on the island. However, its history is not entirely clear. There are two main hypotheses regarding the origin of Inzolia: the first hypothesis suggests that this vine was brought by the Greeks during the colonization of the island between the 8th and 5th centuries BC. The second hypothesis suggests that Inzolia was introduced to Sicily by the Normans in the 11th century.
