Grapes : 100% Nerello Mascalese produced in the Alcamo DOC area at 139 metres above sea level at a distance of approximately 17km from the sea

Vinification and aging : The grapes are harvested by hand in 14 kg crates between late September and early October. They undergo destemming and cold pre-fermentation maceration at approximately 8°-10°C. The must then ferments at 18°-20°C and macerates on the skins for 18-20 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in second- and third-passage barriques, and once fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to concrete tanks where it ages for 14 months.
