Grape variety: Perricone
One of the oldest native varieties in western Sicily, Perricone offers a broad bouquet of fresh red berries, enhanced by a pleasant finish. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature between 22 and 25°C, and it is aged in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of six months. A further month of bottle ageing is required before release.
A deep ruby red wine, it offers delicious aromas of red berries, morello cherry, and plum, with subtle hints of licorice. On the palate, it is enveloping, elegant, and persistent, with soft tannins perfectly balanced with its structure. Ideal paired with legume soups, pasta dishes, risottos, and fava bean soup. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
