Pian dei Gelsi by Nino Gandolfo is a wine produced only with selected grapes from vineyards located on the hills surrounding Salemi, in the Mazara Valley.

 Aging: In American oak barriques, where the grapes will then rest for a long refinement of 36 months.
 Nose: Aromas of red fruits such as blackcurrant, and tertiary notes deriving from the refinement such as a subtle and elegant vanilla, as well as toasted hints and fine tobacco.
